Frosted Wrought Iron Fences

These fences I walk by practically every day, but most of the time I take notice when this happens.

I wonder if the craftsmen ever noticed their creations appearing like this?

A Cold Spell

It is just freezing these days. A long lasting cold spell with unusually low temps. Walking to work can litterally be an experience, and layers of clothes a definite must. Actually, it is all bordering on exotic .... : D

Nativity Scene III

If you have a hard time imagining what a cloud of angels look like you need to check this.Moving and very amusing. This striking piece of kindergarden art you may see in Nidaros Cathedral each December.

Hosing downThe Rose Window?

Were these gyus doing some spring cleaning of the famous 10 000 piece Rose Window (Nidaros Cathedral) this late Novermber evening? A bizarre sight - definintely a jaw-dropper.
It turned out that a tv crew needed light to hit from the outside to produce some of those magic beams.
If you can't film during the day when the sun hits just right, I guess you go for the second best.
 If you have the funds.

Strut Your Stuff

While I was windowshopping at the Salvation Army on my way to work this charmer just had a ball. Strutting his stuff as it were, the garb was definitely layered today due to -16 degrees C. Layer no 1 was a Christmas a red hoodie trimmed with white fleese, no less, and layer no 2 was a very macho green sports coat - with a belt! - Very active on his leach by the steps outside the store trying to kick up a much snow as possible. Then it was time to water the lillies. I guess when you gotta go you gotta go... and then back to the snow activites. I am slightly proned to cats, but have to admit I am utterly charmed when I bump into guys like this.
