Fall Colors Across the River

After weeks of drab fall weather, finally a spectacular, sunny day with badby blue skies and a soft breeze. Can you spot how high the tide is?

The Old Town Bridge from a different angle. I have never seen in "from below" before. A mix of old and new work at the bases. Most of us just walk across it every day and are familiar just with that level.

At the Crack of Dawn

Way to little light to get a decent picture of this new day with birds chirping like mad. Did not know they were carrying on like this at the crack of dawn on a cold and crisp October morn.

But what a treat for us passers by to see these stained glass windows all lit up at dusk.

On these mideval stone walls the most beautiful shades of pink appear during early morning hours. Crisp winter mornings lend the best "conditions" for this canvas coming to life as you look up and across the court yard.

Not Quite Gold Mosaic

But still, very gold like, on rainy and windy morning on my way to work

It made me think of the magnificent gold mosaics in St Mark's Basilica in Venice
