More snow. But gone by lunchtime. Such is the month of March, in these parts anyway!

Beams of sunshine through stained glass windows
make heavenly paintings on old, gray and dismal stone walls.

Translation of celtic prayer: Hans Olav Mørk
- A Stikken Card Creation -

"May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand”

I wish you would inviade my privacy
Scatter my silence
Mess up my day

I wish you'd leave your mark all over me
Handle my secrets
Teach me to play
I wish you could

I want yo to see the inside of me
Fondle my fancies
Enter my art
I wish you'd penetrate my privacy
Conquer my vanity
Touch my heart

Friday, March 20

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

Why this came to mind this afternoon while passing this marble cross,
like I do every day, I have no idea.
Maybe my subconscious was trying to tell me something?

A crisp morning with dazzling sunshine.... Always trying to keep my eyes preferably above eye level, while making haste... Today two good friends gave me a ride to work. As I stepped out of the car I was stepping on to a vast piece of lavish fabric....
In the shade, on numerous big slabs of slate, the work of angles passing by, showing off lace patterns of the heavens...

It is official; spring is on its way. - Said so in the local newspaper the other day. The miniature lights on the trees in the center of Trondheim are turned off. They will be turned back on come November. Guess that means changing to Day Light Saving Time in the not too distant future. This is my snapshot through the bus window - on my way home late one eve in December.

Monday, March 9

Brighter, lighter days ahead... The days a r e longer; I can tell because it is still daylight when I get out of work.

And the birds definitely know it; they are chirping like mad. Amazing, I thought they didn't do much chirping until the snow was gone. But, then againg, I am no ornithologist.
