Morning blanket.......

Tempting to sit down, but not quite the thing you do on your way to work this time of year. This is actually a favorite bench. It sits in the shade and makes for an excellent spot for a timeout. The-sandals-off-spot, as it were.

"Paint My House" projects art on famous buildings; previously on the Berliner Dom. Next they are planning for Acropolis in Athens. Last night they "covered" Nidaros Cathedral with some 20 works of art, local and foreign artist. Spectacular! My picture(s) were taken with my phone camera - simply snapshots with no settings and no tripod. Turned out pretty artsy.

Slush, sleet, rain and boots.
Slippery conditions... now there's an understatement :D
And I thought we were done with this for a while!
It does not have that appearance :D

Shortcuts across the cemetery was not the best option today.

After weeks on end with masses of snow: Manhole cover revealed due to heavy rain, i.e. cats and dogs and then some. I did see some pavement today and reconized it rihgt away! Except last time I did do a close inspection of this artsy cover I was also looking at my toes in sandals and 24 degrees celcius. Today's footwear: rubber boots! Water, water, everywhere..... on my way to work.

A rather dismal morning with a light drizzle made me dream about summer as I was out for a walk this Saturday. This is a July morning, birds singing and diamond dew on the lawns...

Hurrying home tonight, past the cathedral and across the cemetery, I made myself slow down and take time to look up...

A pristine scene at the cemetery by Nidaros Cathedral on my way to work. I must have been the very first this a.m. to see this Celtic cross up close in this heavenly snow crystal drapery.
No tracks in the deep snow.

I stop to look around for someone to share with.
But I guess this was meant just for me...
