More Marble Added?

Mother nature seems to have added some marble trimmings on the West Wall of the Cathedral.

She must have been at work during the night and at the same time brought on some pretty low temperatures for us.

Art Outdoors

One of the events during ISFIT'09 was the "Paint My Huse" event; art projected on Nidaros Cathedral's West Wall.
A total surprise for me leaving work that cold February night, but all the more a stunning experience. The mobile camera just about had a meltdown .....

The popular foot bridge by Beddingen and Solsiden shopping center is all decked out for the holidays.

During spring and summer we find flowers in the numerous "window boxes" alongside both railings. Quite the treat acually.

Restoring the Cathedral

This fellow rests (?) outside the workshops as a reminder and teaser, I'd like to think. What tremendous jobs these people do; preserving, restoring and showing us the treasure that the Cathedral is and holds.
